Sound plays a very important role in my work. From the writing stage, I think about how it can work with the image to best support the narrative and emotions.

For stereo projects, I usually handle the sound design myself, finding the sounds I need and recording any that are missing. I then assemble them and apply the necessary processing to make each scene feel believable and immersive.

I also handle the mixing, taking into account the standards specific to each distribution platform. A mix for YouTube, for example, needs to be louder and have a more limited dynamic range than one intended for cinema or television, to remain intelligible in noisy environments.

In sound design, the number of tracks can quickly increase depending on the level of immersion and realism sought. For example, 129 tracks were required for this 4-minute opening scene.
